South Dorset Ridgeway Festival July 2010
About the Exhibition
Party Time ! Everyone is invited to come along in the evening of 25th July, to join in a celebration of the Ridgeway under an almost Full Moon!
There will be a bar and a Hog-roast type feast - cooked on site by Richard from the Springhead Pub in Sutton Poyntz.

There will be a bonfire to dance around (nakedness not required!) and music and songs.
Directions, Parking and Accessibility
On the highest point of the Ridgeway between the top of Gould's Hill and the Main road from Dorchester to Weymouth.
Walk from Upwey Village, either from the Ship Inn up the Roman Road or from the Wishing Well Cafe area up the footpath through the fields.
DO NOT ATTEMPT to enter the site from the main Weymouth to Dorchester road, except if walking along the diverted South West Coast Footpath from Came in the east - the path crosses the main road north of the ridgeway summit and is dangerous!
NO PARKING FOR CARS!
Everyone is encouraged to walk in the moonlight or cycle or arrange alternative transport, such as a taxi (at the top of Gould's Hill).
Accessibility Rating: 4/5 (Pretty good from top of hill, but walk up is harder.)
